The Income Tax Building at 1955 Smith Street, Regina, is a high performance building that has achieved outstanding environmental goals through its recent major renovation.  The obsolete and inefficient building core layout was replaced with a more functional one, including a new energy-efficient elevator.  High efficiency mechanical systems and electrical energy saving features are expected to reduce overall energy use.

The Regina Chapter of IFMA will be hosting a one-day event on Mental Health in the Workplace.  Mental health awareness is a rising issue in today’s society that needs to be addressed and not ignored.
Our event will give you the knowledge to see warning signs of someone struggling and the tools to create an opportunity to help them regain their life. At the end of the day, you will receive a certificate from the safeTALK session. You will be given the tools and feel empowered to make changes in your workplace and personal life.

Dear CFM,
On behalf of the CFM® Scheme Committee, I want to provide you with an update on some changes and enhancements regarding your credential that are being implemented to simplify the recertification process, bring management of the CFM credential up-to-date, and to better align with the requirements of ISO 17024, Conformity assessment – General requirements for bodies operating certification of person, an ISO/ANSI accreditation which we are pursuing. The CFM Scheme Committee has worked with the IFMA staff and various focus groups on these changes for over a year and implementation will start next month, in June, 2017. Full implementation will be phased in over the next several years.
